The only required purchase is a copy of the Warrior Disciple book for each participant. Leader guides, discussion resources, fireteam materials, promotional materials, and permission to use the system in your local ministry are free.
Yes, but the book was designed to be used in close fellowship with other Christian men. You will normally gain far more through discussion, prayer, accountability, mentoring, confession of sin, and the iron-sharpening-iron fellowship described in Proverbs 27:17.
The program normally lasts about 9 to 12 months. Groups can meet weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, and leaders can adjust the pace based on discussion needs and the use of bonus sessions.
It can work with two men, a small group of 3 to 8, a larger ministry, or a church-wide program. Large groups should usually divide into smaller discussion groups so every man can participate.
Meet in a home, church room, restaurant, coffee shop, library, office, community space, or through video meetings. Choose a location that is accessible, comfortable, and suitable for honest conversation.
A pastor can lead the program, but the system can also be led by a faithful, spiritually mature Christian man who prepares carefully, handles Scripture responsibly, keeps discussion on track, and works under appropriate church accountability.
